Account settings

To access your account settings in Chef 360 Platform, select the user profile icon in the top-right and select the Account Settings cog icon.

The Account settings page contains the following options:

  • Regenerate Key: When you get your welcome email, you should go to the Account settings page to regenerate your key. Copy or download the key when it’s generated and save it somewhere safe. The key isn’t stored by DSM and you won’t be able to see it after you close the page.

Note

When you regenerate the key, the current key for the user will no longer be accepted.
  • Change Password: Specify the current password, the new password, and confirm the new password.

The Users Details section displays the following details:

  • Email ID
  • Name
  • DSM User Name: You need this user name to run Command Line Interface (CLI) commands.
  • Logged in OU
  • Role/s

Associated OUs

The Associated OUs table displays the organizational units that the user is associated with and their role (or roles) in each unit.
