Sign up for Chef 360 SaaS

Sign up for Chef 360 SaaS to receive access to a hosted Chef 360 Platform tenant. After completing this page, you will have access to your tenant and can sign in to the Chef 360 Platform user interface.

Chef 360 SaaS is hosted and operated by Progress, so you don’t install or manage the underlying infrastructure. Your access and available capabilities depend on your product subscription, entitlement, and tenant configuration.

Before you begin, review the SaaS system requirements to confirm your organization, users, and nodes are ready.

Before you begin

  • Confirm that your organization has a Chef 360 Platform subscription or evaluation entitlement.
  • Identify the administrator or account team responsible for requesting your tenant.
  • Prepare the email address that will receive the invitation or access instructions.
  • Confirm whether your organization uses local credentials or a configured single sign-on (SSO) provider.

Request access to Chef 360 SaaS

To request access, contact your Chef account team or use the Chef 360 Platform product page to learn about available subscriptions and connect with Progress.

When your tenant is provisioned, the account team or tenant administrator provides the tenant URL and explains whether you sign in with local credentials or SSO.

Sign in to your tenant

  1. Open the tenant URL provided by your account team or tenant administrator.
  2. Select the sign-in option provided for your organization.
  3. Enter your credentials, or complete authentication with your organization’s SSO provider.
  4. Complete any account setup or password steps shown after authentication.

Verify the result

Confirm that the Chef 360 Platform user interface opens for your tenant and displays the features available to your organization. If you signed in with a local account, confirm that you can sign out and sign in again with the same credentials.
